During this years annual Recycle Week, the World’s Largest Recycled Artwork hopes to remind all that small changes from everyone can still go a long, long way to improving the environment. In fact, if everyone in the UK recycled just one aluminium drink can per week, this would reduce CO2 in the atmosphere equivalent to taking 2000 cars of the road!
The lead artist for this inspirational piece of recycled art is world-renowned sculptor Robert Bradford, who has created the ‘Bombus Bee’ sculpture in the Eden Project and the Big Ben Coca Cola Sculpture in 2008. By measure this new project will be over 100m in length and will be made from over half a million recycled drink cans by 100 volunteers!
